A village lives in fear, forced to live under draconian laws and work quotas or else they're killed... or worse. Some of the people come back and return as cold-lifeless versions of themselves called Hollows, with supernatural abilities and heartless/mindless personalities. This story is about the struggles of characters trying to live in this nightmare.
