Chapter 1: Prologue: Queen Mielia's Death

"Listen prime minister, as my last command I order that Prince Erostrio is the heir of my kingdom. My Ministers, please guide him to be the wise king i've taught him to be" the queen said to her advisors as her voice weaken each sentence.

"Yes, my queen. We will guide the young king to be wise and kind as wanted your highness" the prime minister said nodding, followed by his fellow minister

"Thank You, Elgard. Tell this to the princes and princesses after his arrival. Never disclose this secret until after the crown Prince has arrived"

Behind the door, a man gritted his teeth before rushing off when the ministers left the Queen's chamber.

Few days went by as the queen last breath was not seen by any member of her family. Queen Mielia died after stabilizing the war torn empire his long dead husband left behind after his campaign. The clouds thundered around the castle's Skies, as if was angered by an evil deed. Only God know how and why the queen died.

Far from the Castle, a young man rode his black horse. A couple of horsemen walk behind him, Spear ready. The Young men aimed his long bow to a hare when suddenly A Horse bearing the Royal crest arrived

rushed to him, the messenger riding the horse said to the young mon.

"My Prince! please return to the Castle! The Ministers asks your attention!" The messenger said.

Crown Prince Erostrio's face turned evidently sour when he heard the messenger.

"What is it?" Erostrio asked as he lowered his arrow

"An urgent message, My Prince. The Queen has fallen ill and have passed away, the Prime minister ask the Prince to return and stabilize and take the throne" The messenger said painting, he didn't have the guts to see to the prince's eye.

"What do you mean? Hasn't it been only a week when I left her fine? What happened in that short time?" Erostrio furiously draw his sword

"I'm sorry your highness, there is little time left before the Prince know. " The messenger said trembling

"Dammit Tyler! How would you explain that sort of thing happening?" Erostrio looked at Tyler, the man besides him.

"Your highness, please remain calm" Tyler said to the Prince. "I advise we be ready for now"

The Prince looked between the messenger and Tyler before shouting "Prepare the horses! " And began rushing to the capital. Horses gallops was heared passing through villages. Days have passed since the Crown prince's entourage rushed to the capital. The sky darkens as his entourage entered the forest. From the back of the line, Tyler, The crown prince's retainer approached Erostrio's horse.

"your highness, we can expect to see the capital tomorrow before lunch"

"Thanks Tyler. Everyone! we shall continue our journey tomorrow. Set up the tent and campfire. Tyler, did you find anything useful from the messenger about the capital?"

"sadly no your highness" the Man bowed respectfully. Erostrio looked to the dark night skies. he then told Tlyer to leave him alone.

The night skies was void of stars and moon and there was strangely any single sound. That night was particularly eery for anyone in his position.

erostrio brushed off his uneasiness and left back to his group.

The next day, as they approached the horizon, the scenery they saw shocked most of the guards as they drawed their sword warily.

"what happened Here?" Erostrio asked when he saw the capital. It literally lost it's color, leaving a grayish color all over the capital. as they came close, a man with a black robe was standing before the gateway, he was clearly using a hood ove his head. Fearing that he might be the cause of the ordeal, Erostrio ordered one of his guard to approach him and try asking the figure

"who are you! what happened to the capital?!" the guard ask as his sword is ready to defend any attack. the man looked to him, making the guard gasps

"How? Arent you dead Prince-" his dialogue was cut off when a black tentacle suddenly strangled him and dragged him to the capital. The man that revealed a horn beneath his hood, collapsing members of the guards out of fear.

"RUN! You Dont Have A Chance Against That Thing! RETREAT!" The prince shouted as hard as possible. The confused guards that was already afraid was made panicked as they rode their horses away from the entourage, leaving some of the maids, servants and the carriage of the crown princess.

"Brian! bring Everyone else away from this place!" Erostrio told the butler

"but your majesty-"

"Leave!" Erostrio Readied his sword and charged with his horse ThunderDuck. when he arrived, he reconized that face.

"Eros! long time no see. I've been waiting for you." Virin said, with his usual arrogant tone "could you be here to see i be throned king? or are you here to Take Away my rightful as Heir?"

"Virin, Virin Aljemban. Cousin, i knew it was you from that magic. I know you want revenge but why get the citizens involved?" Erostrio asked his cousin furiously.

"I dont Know? maybe because they worked with YOU to remove me from my place as Crown prince!"

"you gave me no choice Cousin! You killed uncle so you can be king after mother's death. You killed your own father! Why do you have to do that? Can't you be patient?"

"sorry Eros, i've got no time to answer shit. Die EROSTRIO" Virin Pulled out a Staff and summoned a large magic circle, summoning a horde of death knight.

Erostrio gripped his left hand tightly. His anger burning as he remembered the astrocities Virin did to the kingdom. He immeadiately calmed down as he was sensible enought to know that he's surrounded.

"nope. i can't be more patient than this. Die!" Virin said as he Launched Magic missiles to Erostrio.

Erostrio couldn't block the sudden attack and jumped to the side, dodging.

The death knights approached him swords ready.

"skeletons are no match for me!" Eros said as he crushed the front of the army with his sword strike.

Erostrio swinged his sword a to a shield a knight was using, cleaving it clean. but a mere swordmaster cannot defeat an army alone. When He Swinged it sideways, a sword stuck on his Thigh. when he tried to defend, attacks came without stop. when he tried to dodge, Shields was blocking him.

"HA HA HA. Take that Eros! you should've died the last time we fought!

injured and Exhausted of the never ending battle, Erostrio exclaimed "I'd rather die as a Warrior than be a Servant of a Demonic Being!"

"verywell Then. DIE!

"OH GODDESS, BY THE NAME OF THE ROYAL ALHAYTER FAMILY I SEEK YOU TO DESTROY MY ENEMIES" Erostrio Screamed as he used all his magic to use Divine Call. Not long after, A ginormous circle covered the Death knight army and Virin. They all vanished, including Erostrio Alhayter, The Crown Prince of Alhayter.
