Chapter 3: Prologe 4: What was his name
The day was filled with ominous tension as the battle for the blockhouse reached its climax. The man with gray hair and shiny armor raised his voice, echoing across the battlefield: "All archers, target the blockhouse!" The tumult of the battlefield resembled a wild earthquake, making the earth tremble. Amidst the chaos, a young boy with glasses and shoulder-length brown hair tapped the man with gray hair on the shoulder. "Sir Mirotta, what's in that house that we have such an impressive force of over thirty thousand soldiers, fifteen thousand adventurers, and a legendary hero on our side?" the boy asked curiously. The lieutenant didn't turn to the boy and instead gave the command: "Fire!" With these words, all archers and cannons unleashed their firepower on the blockhouse. An ear-deafening metallic sound filled the air as all projectiles disappeared instantly. The young boy stared in disbelief at the scene. "W... What happened to all the projectiles?!" he exclaimed in shock. The lieutenant looked displeased and started cursing. Suddenly, a young man with blond hair and red armor stepped forward. "I told you, you can't harm him. I even believe he will never forgive the Church or anyone else for what they did back then," the man explained firmly. The young boy looked up to the man, his eyes shining with admiration. "You're Asai, the hero who once saved the land of Rontikel. I admire you greatly," the boy spoke with awe. Asai grabbed the boy by the collar and lifted him up before flying with him to a nearby mountain. The boy stared at Asai with wide eyes and stammered, "W... Why are we here? Did I do something wrong?" Asai shook his head, reassuring the boy, "No, you didn't. I just wanted to make sure you wouldn't be overrun by all those soldiers. We're here to show you what's inside that house." The boy nodded understandingly and asked curiously, "Who is in the house?" Asai sat down on the ground, and the boy followed suit. "My mentor and the former hero, or rather, my adoptive father," Asai replied with a hint of melancholy. Then, he turned to the boy and asked, "Hey, kid, what would you like to become, or in other words, how do you not want to end up?" The boy looked at Asai with a questioning gaze and thought for a moment. "I think I don't want to become someone who commits evil deeds or lives on the streets," he replied eventually. Asai smiled gently and said, "My father may have looked like a devil, but he was a good person. Unfortunately, the Church had a different opinion about him." The boy gazed at the blockhouse and continued, "But what did he do that so many countries turned against him?" Asai looked at a man chained with a white robe and a yellow cross on his back and began to tell the story, "He was an adventurer who loved adventure, but not in the way people imagined. It was more a way for him to find peace and forget everything that burdened him in everyday life. But one day, he was publicly sentenced to death by the People's Church and the Supreme King of Ozymandias. Seeing what had happened, he obliterated the Holy Land within just three seconds." Suddenly, a battle cry pierced the air, and all soldiers and adventurers stormed towards the small blockhouse. The door swung open, and a boy with white hair and red tips, along with two broken horns, stepped out with a broad grin. He carried two swords on his back and wore a black jacket. A huge X-shaped portal opened, and several dragons and monsters emerged. Asai stood up, looking with an angry gaze toward the Pope. With emphasis, he said, "This person's name is Zero..."
