Chapter 5: time

Time comes and goes, we’re always in the future and the present but never the past, I’ve always yearned for the sense of recognition and nostalgia, I was always stuck in the past, I could never move forward, as a child I would yearn to be an adult then as an adult I would yearn to be a child again, it’s a cycle, we always yearn for what we think is better. After time I have come to the realization that I am driven by nostalgia and what I could have had, when others look forward I look at the past and call it a peaceful time, the other wait and anticipate the future, I want to feel a sense of familiarity and home, I want to escape from my past just like the other but I never did.
